Smartphone content is strong — we complement
A modern smartphone is a first-class tool for social media. UGC aesthetic, authenticity and speed — no pro setup delivers that better. Meta and TikTok reward exactly this look: authentic, less polished content often outperforms classic ads. Smartphone content belongs in every serious social media strategy.
Pro production doesn't replace it — it complements. Certain formats need setups smartphones can't deliver: controlled lighting, professional audio, multi-camera shoots, high-frame-rate slow motion, stabilization for movement. For image clips, product shots or campaign material, one shoot day delivers what a phone can't — without losing authenticity.
Reels, photos, image films — when each makes sense
Reels are the fastest way to build new reach. Photos work for the grid, the website and ads. Image films pay into the brand — on trade shows, in pitch decks or permanently on the homepage. The art is producing several of these formats in parallel on one shoot day.
We plan every content day so you walk out with three to five reel ideas, 30–60 photos and optionally one image clip. That drastically reduces production cost per asset and makes the shoot economically sensible.
Why in-house post-production matters
Many agencies shoot themselves and outsource editing. Leads to long feedback loops and results that often don't match the original vision. At lahnside, Hendrik edits — the same Hendrik who was on the shoot. He knows which take works, what alternatives are in the material, and how the cut fits the overall look.
Means: first cuts a few days after the shoot. Feedback rounds are short because we're directly at the material. And the look stays consistent across all videos — through the month, through the year.

How long does a shoot day take?+
Half to a full day on location is standard. Result: 4–8 reels or one longer image film plus accompanying photos. We plan so you don't have to shut down the whole operation.
What about models or actors?+
If you need them, we organize them via castings or our network. Often though: your own employees or management feel more authentic — and that's what viewers respond to.
Can we use the content for everything?+
Yes. You get usage rights for all your own channels, ads, website and print. No follow-up costs, no licensing fees.
Can we book a single shoot or only as a package?+
Both. We recommend producing several formats on one day though — reduces effort, saves cost and creates a consistent look & feel.
